“Name one accomplishment of Barack Obama.”
May 3, 2008Quick. Don’t do a search, just stop and think. Can you name just one political accomplishment Barack Obama’s?
Now, please be honest. Could anybody? If you couldn’t, don’t feel bad. Neither could these people. Let’s start off with a congressman who had officially endorsed Obama:
Neither could these supporters:
Now, if you actually could name an accomplishment, and again, please be honest, did you learn it because you realized “Hey wait a minute… I’m supporting this guy for president, and I don’t even know what he’s done… I’d better go look it up!”?

He pisses off reactionary scum like nothing else.
Kind of the way the current president does, huh?
But does he even have Hillary beat on this non-accomplishment? I say no.
Wait! This is fantastic! I just thought of the perfect analogy. Obama is like the Red Sox, while Clinton is like the Yankees…
Everybody hates the Yankees, but nobody, and I mean nobody, beats the Red Sox fans for being annoying yappers with a sense of entitlement. Furthermore the Yankees are known for great teams in the 90’s, while they have not faired so well against the Red Sox recently.
Really, it’s a beautiful analogy.
Congratulations, you have passed the Clinton Kool-aid test! no throwing up, now.
That’s rich. You think Obama has a sense of entitlement — not the “inevitable” candidate, who is aghast that pesky little Democratic activists, black voters, and caucuses would dare deny her the nomination that is hers by bed-right.
Facts have no place in your blog, do they?
Hmmm… I certainly could have seen the Clinton-entitlement link a few months ago. But that attitude eventually (finally!) got shirked once Obama took a commanding lead.
But, perhaps entitlement wasn’t the best word. In fact I know it wasn’t. Superiority. That’s the word I’m looking for. Even when the Red Sox hadn’t won anything in 75+ years there was a sense of superiority about their fans. Same goes for Obama fans.
